Hanover, meanwhile, finally got pushed and was pushed to the limit by Axtell. The Eagles took a 34-28 lead on Quinn Buessing’s 8-yard touchdown run and two-point conversion early in the third quarter before Hanover responded with three straight touchdowns to take control. Daiken Stallbaumer ran for two of those touchdowns and Carter Bruna added the third. The duo combined for 285 yards and six touchdowns on the ground, while Buessing threw for 291 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 90 yards and two scores for Axtell.
