Troy jumped to a 21-0 lead after one quarter and never looked back. Kipp Jasper was 11-17 for 284 yards passing and hit four receivers while tossing four touchdowns. Reid Jasper had 111 yards on four receptions and a TD while Kendrick Jeschke caught three passes for 65 yards with a score and Tate Smith hauled in three for 85 yards. Jacob Moore led the ground attack with 84 yards on just five carries and Marcus Martinez and Jacob Mott each had nine tackles as Troy improved to 3-0. Horton scored their first points of the season on a 75 yard kickoff return by Matthew Lobdell.
