1A-DII State Tournament - 1st round

Axtell led 26-23 at the half and posted a 22-19 third quarter and despite a 22-18 fourth quarter by St. John's/Tipton the Eagles held on for the win. Hanna Schmitz netted 20 points and added 8 rebounds for Axtell, while Trisha Mathewson scored 12 points and Maryna Buessing tallied 13 points. Olivia Kuckelman chipped in 11 points.
