3A State Tournament - 1st round
Nemaha Central led 14-8 after the first quarter and went into halftime up 22-19 over Royal Valley but Panthers hung close and closed the game with a 17-10 fourth quarter to take the win. The Thunder were hurt by 25 turnovers in the contest as Laura Macke led the teams with 13 points and 7 rebounds, Jacy Dalinghaus and Alleigh Kramer each scored 12 points, while Ashley Larkin finished with 6 points and 12 rebounds.
Royal Valley was led by Tamo Thomas who scored 17 points, while Mary Broxterman posted a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds.
