Onaga held a 12-7 advantage after the first quarter but Doniphan West answered with a 22-8 second quarter in which Devin Taylor had 11 points and the Mustangs led 29-20 at the half. Doniphan West went on to outscore Onaga 24-10 in the second half and earn the win. Taylor finished with 14 points to lead the Mustangs, while Clayton Ridout scored 13 points and Newt Smith chipped in 12 points.
Onaga was led by Tanner Marten who recorded 12 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and had 11 blocks, while Quinton Norris added 10 points.
