For the fourth straight year Hanover will play for a State title after recording their 24-straight win but had to use a strong push late to earn the win. The Wildcats scored 22 unanswered points in the 4th quarter to earn the win as the contest was tied 6-6 at the half and Pike Valley led 18-14 after three quarters.
Leading the way for Hanover was Daiken Stallbaumer who was 7-10 for 162 yards with 2 TDs and had 68 yards on 17 carries with a TD. Kevin Diederich added 39 yards on 5 carries with a TD, whlie Carter Bruna ran for 58 yards on 16 carries with a TD and caught a 58-yard TD. Brennan Zabokrtsky grabbed two passes for 55 yards with a TD.
Pike Valley in the loss did manage 229 yards rushing as a team.
