Up 7-6 at the half Hiawatha led held a 13-12 lead with just under seven minutes remaining but Riverside put together a drive that ended in the game winning TD punching it in with 1:20 left in the contest. 

In the loss Hiawatha got an 83-yard TD run by Alan Simpson and a 5-yard TD run by Andrew Woods.
