1A-DI State Tournament - Championship (at Hays)
Hanover claimed their sixth State title in school history working to a 16-9 lead after the first quarter agains South Gray and led 31-16 at the half and closed the game with a 17-8 fourth quarter to earn the win. The Wildcats shot 48.7% (19-39 FGs) from the floor, while holding South Gray to 27.7% shooting (13-47 FGs) and outscored them 30-18 in points in the paint, along with scoring 18 points off 10 South Gray turnovers. Michael Jueneman led Hanover with 26 points (8-14 FGs & 8-8 FTs), while Will Bruna netted 12 points and the team went 19-23 from the free throw line.
