1A-DI State Tournament - Championship (at Hays)
Hanover captured their first ever State title in thrilling fashion as Tianna Lohse hit the game winning three-pointer at the buzzer to lift the Wildcats to the win. Olpe led 13-9 after the first quarter but Hanover went into halftime leading 26-25, only to see Olpe go into the fourth quarter up 37-34. Tied at 47-47 in the final minute of the game both teams traveled and Hanover had one last shot and got the game winning three to take the game. Macy Doebele led Hanover with 15 points, while Ashton Jueneman chipped in 12 points and the Wildcats went 17-24 from the free throw line.
