1A-DII State Tournament - 1st round (at Dodge City) 

Caldwell jumped on Axtell early with a 16-6 first quarter but led only 27-21 at the half and the Eagles closed the lead to within two points in the third quarter. Caldwell finished the game with a 22-6 fourth quarter and with 24 points off 19 Axtell turnovers secured the win. Burke Deters led Axtell with 14 points and 8 rebounds, while Quinn Buessing scored 13 points.
