Class 3A Sabetha Sub-State - Championship
For the first time as Nemaha Central the Thunder will head to the State tournament after a win over Hiawatha. Nemaha Central led 12-5 after the first quarter and led 22-16 at the half and posted a 14-5 third quarter to help them earn the win. Laura Macke led Nemaha Central with 20 points, while Jacy Dalinghaus scored 13 points and Kaley Dalinghaus chipped in 11 points. Hiawatha had Cariann Kunkel score 18 points, while Courtney Brockhoff posted 17 points going 7-12 from the free throw line.
