Axtell led 19-13 after the first quarter but a 12-2 second quarter by Hanover gave the Wildcats a 25-21 lead at the half and the Wildcats would outscore Axtell 32-24 in the second half to earn the win. Macy Doebele led Hanover with 31 points, while Axtell was led by Trisha Mathewson who scored 16 points and Anna Buessing who added 11 points.
