Hiawatha started strong leading 11-2 after the first quarter and took a 22-6 lead into halftime after an 11-4 second quarter over Nemaha Central. The Thunder made comeback getting as close as two-points in the fourth using a 19-6 fourth to making it tight but Hiawatha held them off for the win. Courtney Brockhoff led Hiawatha with 22 points scoring 14 in the first half. Kaley Dalinghaus had 13 points for Nemaha Central.
