Axtell jumped out to an 18-6 lead after the first quarter but Doniphan West responded with a 17-8 second quarter and led 26-23 at the half. The Eagles responded with a 12-8 third quarter and used that to hold of the Mustangs for the win. Anna Buessing led Axtell with 14 points, while Makenna Koch scored 10 points and Maddy Kuckelman chipped in 9 points. MaKinley Smith led Doniphan West with 15 points, while Mia Scott scored 9 points.
