Royal Valley led 8-6 after the first quarter but Hiawatha used a 12-3 second quarter to take control of the gave and push them to a 18-11 lead at the half and ultimately the win. Cariann Kunkel led Hiawatha with 23 points and 10 rebounds, while going 13-16 from the free throw line. Courtney Brockhoff added an 18 point performance going 4-8 from three-point range. Mary Broxterman led Royal Valley with 14 points.
