It was a back and forth game as Nemaha Central led 11-9 after the first quarter going up by as many as 6-points, but Holton responded with a 14-5 second quarter to lead 23-16 at halftime. The Thunder came right back with a 17-8 third quarter and led 33-31 entering the fourth quarter and the game was tied late until Holton finished the game off with a 14-9 fourth quarter overall to gain the win. Shay Tanking netted 20 points scoring 14 in the first half, while Lauryn Moore tallied 10 points for Holton. Laura Macke posted 13 points for Nemaha Central, while both Maggie Hammes and Jacy Dalinghaus each scored 11 points.
