TVL Tournament (at Washington County) - Quarterfinals
Neither team seemed to get into an offensive groove throughout the game but ultimately a 9-4 third quarter by Wetmore and going 9-13 from the line in the second half helped guide them to the 38-31 win over Linn. Linn started the game on a 5-0 run stretching more than half of the first quarter but Wetmore answered with a 5-0 of their own. In the second Wetmore snagged the lead for the first time and went into the half up 14-12. The Cardinals several times in the second half looked like they were going to push the game out and take firm control going up nine in the third and up 12 with 1:55 left in the game but Linn fought back each time to make it tight but never could battle to take the lead again. Jill Henry led Wetmore with 11 points, while Rachel Bloom had nine points and earned Community National Bank "Player to Bank On" honors on KMZA. Dakota McQueen only had seven points but went 5-6 from the line in the second half to help secure the Wetmore win and improve them to 6-3 and punch their ticket to the Semifinals. In the loss Shelby Ohlde led Linn with 12 points as the Bulldogs fell to 6-3 on the season.
