Up 16-6 after the first quarter Onaga went into halftime up 21-14 over Doniphan West but the Mustangs took over the lead in the third quarter with a 15-7 frame and led 29-28 headed into the fourth. A 10-5 fourth by Onaga and 12 points from Ben Kufahl pushed the Buffaloes to the win, as the team went 10-14 from the free throw line in the contest. Doniphan West was led by Devin Taylor who scored 15 points, while Levi Watts tallied 13 points.
