Doniphan West clung to an 18-17 lead at the half over Wetmore and then used a 21-9 third quarter to take control and ultimately earn the win. Makinley Smith led Doniphan West with 17 points going 8-12 from the line, while Carlie Taylor chipped in 13 points and Mia Scott scored 10 points as the Mustangs as a team finished the night 22-41 from the charity stripe. Wetmore was led by Jill Henry who had 18 points and hit 12-14 free throws, while Dakota McQueen scored 11 points and the Cardinals were 20-31 from the line.
