Holton led just 22-21 at the half but used an 18-9 third quarter to take a wider lead only to see Royal Valley post a 27-23 fourth quarter to make it close in the end but the Wildcats held on for the win. Bryson Patch led Holton with 17 points, while Mason Chanay netted 13 points and Aaron Bain scored 10 points. Royal Valley was led by Leondre Hale who scored 17 points, while Ian Lee tallied 14 points and Masen Spoonhunter scored 13 points. Lucas Broxterman chipped in 10 points.
