Holton pounced on Royal Valley early with a 21-10 first quarter and went in halftime up 33-22 and used an 18-9 third quarter to further distance themselves from the Panthers to earn the win. Shay Tanking finished with 32 points hitting 10-13 free throws, setting a new school record for most points in a game for Holton. Ashlyn Weilert added 11 points for Holton. 

Royal Valley was led by Lexi Baker and Mary Broxterman who scored 11 points each, while Taylor Russell added 9 points.
