Holton mounted a furious comeback to upend #1 and unbeaten Frontenac. The Wildcats trailed 21-0 at halftime and managed only 67 yards of offense in the first half but scored 24 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to take a 24-21 lead. Frontenac responded with a score to led 28-24 with 6:16 left in the contest. Holton then mounted a 21-play drive that lasted 5:57 of game time and with 13 seconds left a 1-yard touchdown run by Tyler Price finished the drive lifting the Wildcats to the win.
Price ran for 63 yards on 17 carries with 2 TDs and Spencer Baum added 184 yards on 26 carries with 2 TDs for Holton.
