Washington County won the District title with a win over Valley Heights in a tight contest. The game was tied at 22-22 at the halftime and Valley Heights led 36-34 with 3:20 left in the game but the Tigers scored with a 1:18 left to take the lead and ultimately the game. Washington County had an 88-yard scoop and score on a Valley Heights fumble that hurt the Mustangs in the second half.
Valley Heights outgained Washington County in the contest 415 to 296 total yards. Hunter Stevenson ran for 162 yards on 25 carries with 2 TDs, while Jordan Yungeberg added 16 carries with 95 yards and Logan Woodyard 14 carries 56 yards and TD.
Washington County had Hunter Kier run for 121 yards on 22 carries with 2 TDs and had an 82-yard kickoff return TD, while Jae Eaton added 138 yards on 9 carries with TD. Jerrod Hoover was 2-2 for 14 yards with a TD.
