Football - Centralia vs Valley Heights 10/21/2016 7:00 PM

For the first time since 1988 Valley Heights earned a win over Centralia using a 30-8 second half to secure the win and clinch a playoff spot. Centralia carried a 28-21 lead into halftime scoring before the half after recovering an on-side kick. But Valley Heights took control in the second half and ran for 373 yards in the game and overcame three turnovers to earn the win. Hunter Stevenson ran for 178 yards on 24 carries ith 4 TDs and had an INT on defense, while Logan Woodyard ran for pair of TDs and Trey Martin added 84 yards on 4 carries with a TD. Bryan Yungeberg snagged an INT on defense. 

Centralia in the loss had 360 yards total offense (2 INT) and were led by Isaac Gore who ran for 202 yards on 25 carries with 3 TDs, while Kamble Haverkamp added 95 yards on 18 carries with 2 TDs. Bryson Johnson had a pair of fumble recoveries.
