New Rankings Out from the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association

The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association have released their latest rankings ahead of Christmas weekend.

Teams are now off until after the New Year.

In the girl’s rankings this week, Nemaha Central dropped a few spots to #8 in Class 3A. Valley Heights remained at #3 behind Sterling and St. Mary’s Colgan in Class 2A while Jackson Heights checked in this week at #6.

Centralia holds serve at #5 in Class 1A-I while Doniphan West and Frankfort are in at 9th and 10 respectively. Also, in Class 1A-II, the Wildcats of Hanover are ranked third.

In the boy’s rankings this week, Royal Valley and Nemaha Central remained at #5 and #6 respectively. Valley Falls up to 5th while Jefferson County North is 7th.

In Class 1A-I, Clifton Clyde is ranked 6th while Frankfort is right behind at #7. Also, in Class 1A-II, Hanover remains in the top spot while Axtell is #4 this week.
