The race for the top spot in the Big 7 league got even tighter after Tuesday night's results in volleyball. 

Nemaha Central won the Holton Tri with straight set wins over Holton and Hiawatha. The Thunder pushed their win streak to 12 and avenged their loss from earlier in the season to Hiawatha. Hiawatha as well picked up a win over Holton going 1-1. 

Royal Valley took care of business at the Sabetha Tri with straight set wins over Sabetha and Jefferson West while it was Sabetha going 1-1 with a win over Jefferson West. 

Also, Perry Lecompton picks up the sweep over Riverside winning match one 25-15 and 25-23 and they would follow that up with a win in match two, 25-9 and 25-19.
