The high school wrestling season continued Saturday for area teams at the St. Mary’s Invitational and the best team finish came from Atchison who took second behind Blue Valley-Southwest.

The Redmen got two first place finishes on the day as Archer Willis claimed first at 120 pounds while Jake Rebant added a win at 152 pounds.

Perry Lecompton added a third place team finish with a win by Caidon Quinlan at 138 pounds and Thad Metcalfe at 160 pounds, while Hunter Clifton at 113 and Mason Bahnmaier at 120 each took second in their respective weight classes.

Maur Hill-Mount Academy was also in action and ended with two third place finishes in Samuel Underwood at 220 pounds and Patrick Madden at 145.
