Four Girls Ranked in Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association Preseason Rankings

KWCA Girls Preseason – Rankings

It’s set to be an historic year for wrestling in the state of Kansas with KSHSAA approving girl’s wrestling to now be their own separate division with chances to reach a state tournament and receive state medals.

With that the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association has released the first set of girl’s rankings and four area girls are ranked.

The Big 7 League has two girls ranked to start the year with Jeff West’s Montana Grahem ranked third at 123 pounds while Sabetha’s Kylee Merideth is ranked fourth in the 191-pound weight class.

The final two ranked girls come from Onaga and ACCHS as the Buffaloes are led by Morgan Mayginnes who’s the top ranked wrestler at 155 pounds while the Tigers Tannah Forbes is ranked sixth at 170 pounds.
