KGCA Releases 2019 All-State Golf Teams

The 2019 golf season has been in the books for a little over two weeks and with that the Kansas Golf Association has announced their all-state teams for the year.

In Class 3A the Sabetha Bluejays captured a second consecutive state title and finished with two guys onto the first team. David Pierson and Jesse Burger were each named to the first team after Pierson finished first at the state meet while Burger finished second.

In Class 1A Frankfort also captured a state championship and were led on the first team by Branden Bussman who took 10th at the state meet in Salina. The Wildcats also had Aiden Gerstner finish on the second team after a third place finish at state, while Frankfort added honorable mention selections by Brandon Anderson and Josh Tynon.
