Oskaloosa Girls, ACCHS Boys Lead Area Performances at Riverside Track Invitational

2019 Riverside Invitational – Results.

Area track and field teams opened up the 2019 season Tuesday evening at the Riverside Invitational and it was the Oskaloosa girls and ACCHS boys who had the best team performances with the Bears taking first and ACCHS third.

The Bears were led by two first place finishes, as Jaycee Johnson took the gold in the 100 meter dash while the 4 by 400 meter relay team also took first.

The Troy girls ended the most first place finishers with seven, led by Amanda Stock who took home three golds winning the high jump, triple jump and 100 meter hurdles.

Morgan Masters added two more golds winning the long jump and 200 meter dash, while Cassidy Rosenberger won the 300 meter hurdles along with the 4 by 100 meter relay team also winning gold.

Riverside and ACCHS rounded out the top finishers on the girl’s side, Annie Hall won the discus and shot put for the Tigers while Lindsey Whitten won the javelin and pole vault.

On the boy’s side the ACCHS Tigers finished with five first place finishes, led by Tucker Smith who won three events as he took gold in the 200 and 400 meter dashes while also winning the javelin. Trystin Myers also won the 300 meter hurdles, while the Tigers 4 by 100 meter relay team also took gold.

The Troy Trojans finished with two first place finishes with Reid Jasper winning the 100 meter dash while Owen Root won the discus throw.

Riverside rounded out top area finishers with just one gold medal winner, as Christopher Brooke won the pole vault.
