Frankfort Boys Golf Team Claims Twin Valley League Title

For the seventh time this season the Frankfort Wildcats boys golf team claimed a tournament title and this time it was the Twin Valley League title. 

TVL golf teams hit the links at Cool Spring golf course in Onaga on Monday and Frankfort posted the best four-man team score with a 339 to win the tournament by 33-strokes. Valley Heights earned second place as a team shooting a 372, while Centralia and Hanover each shot a 393 finishing fourth and fifth. Onaga was also in action and posted a team score of 422. 

Behind four of the Top five individual performances Frankfort was able to win the TVL title and those performances included the best round of the day as Spencer Dressman shot an 80 to win the competition. An 83 by Austin Hardwick earned him third place, while Branden Bussmann and Brandon Anderson took fourth and fifth with rounds of 86 and 90. Aiden Grestner and Josh Tynon tallied rounds of 93 and 94 to finish tenth and 11th, respectively. 

Valley Heights was led by Bryan Yungeberg as he shot an 83 to place second at the TVL meet by winning a playoff with Hardwick of Frankfort, while Brady Trimble took 12th with a 95. 

Hanover had a pair of Top 10 showings as Carter Bruna and Dawson Sedlacek each shot a 91 and placed sixth and eighth. 

Centralia was led by Kenton Talley who finished with a 93 to take ninth place, while KC Koelzer earned seventh with a 91 to lead Onaga.
