Blue Valley-Randolph Competes at Freezing Falcon Track Relays

The Blue Valley-Randolph Rams continued their track season at the Freezing Falcon Relays at Riley County and had several solid performances in the competition. 

Leading the way was Cole Montgomery won with a leap of 5'10 earned the top spot in the boys high jump. Montgomery added three more Top 10 finishes on the day taking sixth place in the 400 meter dash and seventh in the 200 meter dash, while also taking ninth place in the long jump. 

Two other Rams notched Top 10 finishes on the day as Lane Peter leapt to a pair of seventh place showings in the long jump and triple jump. Dakota Hagenmaier finished eighth in the triple jump and tenth in the 300 meter hurdles.

The lady Rams were led by a fourth place finish in the discus by Dani Lingenfelser, while Brooklyn Zoeller finished fifth in the triple jump. Zoeller added a seventh place finish in the 200 meter dash and tenth in the javelin to her day, while Abby McIntrye finished fifth in the high jump. Eighth place in the 1600 meter run was earned by Katie Hutson also for the Rams, while Viktoria Bleckman finished tenth in the long jump.

Track season continues for Blue Valley-Randolph on Thursday, April 12th at the Frankfort Invite.
