Twin Valley League 11-Man Football All-League Honors Awarded

Five teams compete at the 11-Man level in the Twin Valley League and it was again another highly competitive season between the five and with the end of the season for all the teams the All-League honors have been given out. The landscape of the 11-Man TVL League will change as both Doniphan West and Washington County will make the transition to 8-Man football. 

Centralia Panthers returned to the top spot in the TVL a spot they had been for a long time until last year. This season Centralia finished 8-3 on the year falling in the Sectional round of the 2-1A playoffs and went 4-0 in TVL action. Five Panthers earned first team All-League offense honors, while six players got the nod for first team defense honors. Two Panthers also earned first team special teams, while four guys got second team offense honors and three more earned second team defense. 

Valley Heights Mustangs finished 3-1 in TVL play and posted a 7-2 record overall on the year. Four Mustangs earned first team All-League offense, while five picked up first team honors on defense. 

The Doniphan West Mustangs finished 2-2 in TVL play and qualified for the 2-1A playoffs this year ultimately finishing 6-4 on the season. One Mustang snagged first team honors on offense and one player also earned first team on defense. A trio of Doniphan West players picked up second team All-League honors on offense, while two more picked up second team defense honors. 

Troy Trojans finished the season 4-5 and 1-3 in the TVL after a State title in 2-1A in 2016. One Trojan picked up first team All-League defense honors, while two guys earned second team defense and another second team offense. 

Washington County Tigers battled through the year finishing 0-9 on the season and had one player earn first team All-League offensive and defensive honors and another named first team special teams, while also having one more earn second team honors.
