It was a slow start for both teams in the TVL week four rematch on Friday night as both Centralia and Doniphan West went three-and-out and punted on their first two possessions of the game.  However, the Panthers were winning the field position battle after and used a 28-yard pass from Trenton Flentie to Ethan Becker to break open the offense. Isaac Gore scored on a three-yard run with 31 seconds left in the first quarter and the Panthers then scored four times in the second quarter in less than five and a half minutes to take a commanding 34-0 advantage and finished the 2A Regional playoff win by a 63-24 final.

Centralia ran for 478 yards and finished with 552 total offense and better than 10 yards per play, while improving to 8-2 on the season and advancing to host Pittsburg Colgan in Sectionals on Friday, November 10th.  The Panthers biggest lead was 55-8 with 6:39 left in the third quarter as Becker intercepted a Mustang pass to set up a short 15-yard field and Kamble Haverkamp ran in his second touchdown of the third quarter.  Centralia scored on eight of nine drives starting on their third series and had six scoring drives of just three plays or less.  The Panthers scored a trio of touchdowns on just four offensive plays when the floodgates opened in the second quarter.

Freshman, Devon Feldkamp led the way with 146 yards on just seven carries with touchdown runs of 60 and 50 yards and also had one of the three defensive interceptions for Centralia to earn Player to Bank on honors.  Haverkamp had 117 yards on five carries including scores of 45 and 17 yards while Gore had two touchdowns and 53 yards on 9 carries and Flentie added a pair of rushing TDs and 68 yards rushing while also completing 4 of 6 passes for 79 yards, including a 42-yard pass to Haverkamp that set up their third touchdown.  Evan Slater also got his first rushing touchdown of the season and had an interception while Derek VanDorn had a couple sacks and led a dominating effort in the trenches to earn Lineman of the Game honors and Nathan Hauffler also had a big tackle night for the Centralia defense.  Trenton Talley was 7-7 kicking PATs.

Doniphan West ended their final 11-man football campaign by tripling their win total to six victories this season and making the playoffs for the first time since 2014.  Seven of their 15 athletes on the roster are seniors including quarterback Levi Watts who surpassed 5,000 yards passing in his prep career and threw for 207 yards in the post season loss on 16 of 30 accuracy.  Watts ran in a 10-yard touchdown just before halftime to make it 34-8 and tossed touchdowns passes to fellow senior Luke Blevins on 74 yard and 59 yard bombs late in the game.  Blevins finished with eight receptions for 137 yards and over 800 receiving yards for the season.  Zeb Speer had 64 yards on seven catches and caught two of the Mustangs three successful two-point conversions.
