Class 4A Girls Golf State Tournament (at Lake Shawnee Golf Course, Topeka, KS) - Team & Individual

Girls golfers hit the links on Monday for State action and in Class 4A the action was at Lake Shawnee golf course in Topeka and both Jeff West and Holton were represented at State. 

The lone Jeff West Tiger golfer to qualify for State was Sydney Schneider and she closed out her season with an 11th place finish at the 4A State tournament. Schneider carded a 90 on the day to earn her 11th place finish out of 89 golfers. 

Holton Wildcats qualified for State as a team and posted a team score of 440 to finish 10th out of 12 teams competing. Taylor Stevens paced Holton with an even 100 on the day to tie for 29th place, while Faith Holaday tied for 41st after shooting a 104. Sarah Holaday shot a 106 to finish tied for 49th and Abbigail Hundley shot a 130 placing 86th at State.
