On Monday the second postseason of the fall sports season started as girl's golfer's hit the links across the State to compete at Regionals for the right to go to State. 

Both Holton and Jeff West girl's golf will be represented at the Class 4A State tournament in Topeka at Lake Shawnee golf course on Monday, October 16th. 

At the Clay Center Regional the Holton Wildcats were in action and notched a third place team finish to qualify for State as a team posting a team score of 402. Wildcats were led by fourth and fifth place pair of individual performances as Taylor Stevens and Sarah Holaday carded rounds of 90 and 92 to earn those finishes, respectively out of 48 total golfers. With a 101 on the day Faith Holaday placed 13th on the day, while Abbigail Hundley finished out the Wildcats team score with a 119 to place 34th. 

The Jeff West Tigers were in action at the Spring Hill Regional and while the finished sixth on the day with a 460 score one lady Tiger will be heading to State after her performance. Sydney Schneider shot a 100 to tie for 14th and was one of the Top five individual scores from players from non-qualify teams.
