Zone Tournament Assignments -- Junior Legion A, Senior Legion AA, Senior Legion AAA

As the legion baseball season continues the Zone tournament assignments have been announced and the Northeast Kansas League legion teams will all compete in two zones between the AA and AAA level. 

The AA level the local Zone tournament will be hosted by Sabetha at Somerset Park from July 14th-22nd and will include fellow NEKL teams Doniphan County, Corning, Seneca, Silver Lake and also included this year's AA State host Marysville. With the inclusion of Marysville in the Zone that means only one other team will qualify for the State tournament out of the Zone one tournament at Sabetha. The other AA Zone tournaments will be hosted by Iola, Norton and Colby. 

Both Oskaloosa and Leavenworth out of the NEKL will compete at the AAA in the legion baseball postseason and both be in Zone one which Leavenworth will host from July 14th-22nd. Teams from Manhattan, Lawrence and Topeka will join Oskaloosa and Leavenworth in the Zone one tournament. The other AAA Zone tournaments will be hosted by Great Bend, Newton and Chanute. The AAA State tournament will be hosted by Ottawa. 

The Zone Tournaments are set for July 14th-22nd for AA and AAA, while A while have theirs from the 7th-15th.
