Jackson Heights put their first points on the board less than 2 minutes into the game and never trailed in a win over Maur Hill-Mount Academy 59-27 Friday night in Atchison.
Mason Thomas led the Cobra scoring barrage with three touchdowns, all in the third quarter notching 76 yards on the ground. Brady Holiday and Wyatt Olberding each accounted for two touchdowns and Mason Hamilton added one of his own on 71-yard run while running for 103 yards. Cobras ran for 323 yards as a team in the win against Maur Hill. In its first four games Jackson Heights has scored 185 points (46.25 ppg).
Ronald Falk-Tindall was the yardage leader for MH-MA with 136 yards on eight carries and three trips to the end zone.
JHHS is now 4-0, 4-0 while the Ravens move to 2-2, 2-2.
Next Friday Jackson Heights steps out of league play and travels to Washington County (KS) while MH-MA packs the bus for Mexico, MO and a date with Missouri Military Academy.
