The Scotties played a quick game on Monday evening against the Bethany Swedes JV team from Lindsborg, Kansas. The Scotties entered this game 7-4 looking to add to their win game column. The game started out with a streak of 13-4 as this forced the Swedes to call their first time out. As the game went on the gap grew, but the Swedes gained a little leverage. It was not quite enough as the first set ended in favor of the Scotties 25-15.

Jessica Luscombe started off the second set with a big kill to get the Scotties going. The offense was able to show off throughout the second set with Shailey Caudle leading the way. The serving was just as aggressive that took us to a lead of 18-9 as the Swedes called a timeout. The 2nd set ended with the Scotties not allowing anymore points against them; 25-9.

The third set showcased a handful of Scotties off the bench with Jessica LuscombeLauren Hipfl, and Jazzmyn Poirier helping the Scotties finish off the 3rd set 25-21.

Serving proved to be a big factor as the Scotties got 10 aces total on the Swedes as Megan Rhule had 6 of those. Rhule had a big game as she added 30 set assists, 4 kills, 1 solo block and 6 defensive digs. Tyrecia Lukes had an impressive offense as she had 13 kills with only 1 error making a .667 hitting percentage.

The Scotties have another home game this Wednesday evening against Allen County Community College whose recorded is 3-4. The Scotties are now 8-4 on the year.
