Looking to put some solid performances together late in the season Atchison hosted Hiawatha in boys tennis match up on Monday and both schools had some solid performances. 

In singles action Hiawatha won four of the six matches as Kyle Tollefson, Brennon Barnes, Ryan Shamburg and Rhodes Brook each won their matches. Tollefson won 8-1 over Mason Oswalt, while Barnes and Shamburg picked up wins of 8-5 and 8-2 over Bruce Dolenz and Brook won 8-2 over Nathan Stone. Both Oswalt and Stone for Atchison did register a singles win on the day as Oswalt won 8-4 over Dillion Heter and Stone won 8-2 over Terry Snyder. 

In doubles competition Atchison won two of the three matches with the tandem of Oswalt and Dolenz beating Rhodes and Barnes 8-5 and the team of Oswalt and Stone beating Heter and Snyder 8-1. Hiawatha picked up their doubles win on the day with Tollefson and Shamburg winning 8-2 over Stone and Doling.
