Sabetha Legion Losses Pair of Tough Road Games

Sabetha lost a pair of games in Fairbury on Sunday.  Shickley, NE defeated Sabetha in the first game 6-2 and the Raptors lost the nightcap to the hosts 4-1.
 
Game 1:
 
Kiley Teigtmeier of Shickley pitched a complete game allowing 3 hits and fanning 12.  Teigtmeier only ran into trouble in the 5th as Sabetha scored their only two runs w/o the  benefit of a hit.  Teigtmeier walked and hit a couple of batters and Shickley committed an error to aid Sabetha.  Dustin Boeckman & Alec Kirwan each had doubles.  Kirwan pitched the final 4 frames w/o allowing a hit or a walk. 
 
Game 2:
 
Dustin Gruber and Spencer Feldkamp were locked in a pitchers' duel thru 5.5 innings.  Dalton Heinrichs took advantage of the short port in right-center field and led off the bottom of the 6th by bouncing a dinger off the 325' sign.  Shickley was able to plate two more insurance runs in the 4-1 victory.  Gruber fanned 6 and scattered 8 hits in 5.2 innings.  Sabetha loaded the bases with no outs the first, but was only able to plate a single run.  Sabetha had 3 runners doubled off in the contest.
 
Sabetha drops to 1-3 on they season and plays Falls CIty @ Sabetha in a single game on Wednesday.  First pitch is slated around 8:15 following the Jr. Legion game.
