The Sterling boys and the Tri County girls were the champions of the Lewiston Invitational Track Meet held at Pawnee City Tuesday. 

For the boys Sterling scored 77 points and were able to out-lean Diller-Odell with 76. Sacred Heart was fourth with 71, HTRS was 6th  with 39.  In all there were 12 teams competing. 

On the girls side Tri County had 95.5 for the top spot, Lourdes Central Catholic was second with 78, HTRS was third with 76, Sacred Heart was fourth with 55, Freeman was fifth with 51.5 and Sterling was 6th. 

Event winners included:

Boys – HTRS – Ben Railsback – pole vault; Chase Hain – discus; 

Sacred Heart – Austin Malone – long jump and triple jump. Sawyer Kean – 100 meters; 

Sterling – 4 x 800 relay;  Austin Buss – 400 meters; 

Diller-Odell – 4 x 100 relay;  4 x 400 relay;

Lourdes Central Catholic – Nick Whitten – 200 meters;

Freeman – Seth Weber – 800 meters;  

For the Girls: 

HTRS – Bailey Kuhlman – pole vault; Logan Standerford – discuss; 

Allie Binder – 1600 meters and 3200 meters;  

Sacred Heart – Maggie Goltz – triple jump;  

Lourdes Central Catholic – 4 x 100 meters;  Katie Oneil – high jump;    Laura Box – 400 meters and 300 meter hurdles. 

Sterling – Jazzy Eickhoff – shot put;
