The Falls City Sacred Heart Girls won the "A" Division Championship of the 86th Annual MUDECAS Basketball Tournament Friday night. Southern won the "B" Division title.
On the Boys side Saturday Bruning-Davnport-Shickley hit a shot at the buzzer to knock off previously undefeated Freeman 41-40 to win the "A" Division. Palmyra defated Pawnee City for the "B" Division title.
Saturday boys results saw HTRS defeat Dilelr-Odell fpr third place in the "B" Division with Sterling and Johson-Brock picking up consolation victories.
In the "A"Dvision Johnson County Central defeated Lourdes Central Catholic 50-45 for third with SAcred Heart and Exeter-Milligan picking up consolation round wins.
In the girls action the "B" Division third place went to Pawnee City in a 40-23 victory and Sterling defeated Exeter-Milligan for third in the "A" Division.
At the conclusion of the tourandment action, the MUDECAS All-Tournament teams were announced.
