The first full season of Northeast Kansas League football is in the books.  The Horton Chargers won their first league title since 2007 and captured the 2014 NEKL championship with an undefeated record of 5-0.  Horton also made the playoffs for the first time since 2008, but fell to Centralia in the opening round to finish their season with a 7-2 record.  

Maur Hill Mount Academy and Oskaloosa both finished with a 5-1 record to tie for second in the NEKL, as they did not face each other.  Oskie started the year 5-0, but then lost three of their final four games to finish 6-3 and miss the post-season.  The Ravens started 4-0 before a one-point setback at Christ Prep, but then won three of their final four games to quality for the playoffs for the first time in 22 years!  MH-MA ended their 7-3 year with a loss to Silver Lake.   

Pleasant Ridge was fourth in the league with a 4-3 mark and finished 5-5 overall after a first round playoff loss at Rossville. All three NEKL teams that made the post season were eliminated in the opening round.
