Mother Nature played a big factor in Regional girl's golf action on Monday, postponing multiple Regionals but the Regional at Village Greens golf course in Topeka went on with Holton and Jeff West competing in the action.

Battling through the wind and rain Jeff West placed fourth as a team with a 462 finishing just one spot short of a team bid to State, while Holton registered a 485 as a team to finish seventh out of the eight teams. Both teams fell short of qualifying for State but both schools will be sending one individual to compete at State as Olivia Neuenswander of Jeff West and Quinn Holaday from Holton each qualified for the 4A competition.

Neuenswander put together a round of 107 through the inclement weather, while Holaday finished two-strokes behind her with a 109 as each gal individually qualified for State.

Both Olivia and Quinn while represent their schools and compete at the Class 4A State girl's golf competition on Monday, October 20th in Kansas City at Dub's Dread golf club.
