(KLZA) -- Wilber-Clatonia won both the boys and girls team titles at the Lewiston Track Invitational at Pawnee City on Tuesday.
Wilber-Clatonia won the girls title with 141.3 points, Sterling was second with 91, Freeman third with 83, Sacred Heart placed 5th with 44.3, Johnson-Brock was 6th with 43, Diller-Odell was 7th with 30 and HTRS was 9th with 15.3.
Wilber-Clatonia claimed the title by just a half point over Sacred Heart 119.5 to 119. Sterling was third with 84.5, Diller-Odell 5th, Freeman 6th, HTRS was 8th and Johnson-Brock placed 10th.
Winning individual events for the schools were:
For Sacred Heart boys – Austin Malone – Long Jump and Triple Jump;
Sean Strasheim – Pole Vault;
Yianni Haralabidis – 100 Meters;
4 x400 relay team of Chaz Dunn, Sawyer Kean, Austin Malone and Henry Arnold;
4 x 100 relay team of Kean, Dunn, Malone and Haralabidis.
Sacred Heart girls – Maggie Goltz – Triple Jump;
Sterling Boys – Chris Wenzl – Shot Put;
Trey Trauernich – 800; & 1600 meters
4 x 800 meter relay team.
Sterling Girls – Jordan Lempka – Shot & Discus
Johnson-Brock Girls
Kacie Hahn – 100 Meters
HTRS Girls
